It is my great pleasure as GM of the “Instituto de Ingeniería del Conocimiento” (IIC) to kick-off our Blog space.
At an institution like ours, devoted to innovation in the field of knowledge, new ideas constitute a permanent flow. Some of them eventually become products or solutions but many others fall by the wayside and fail to flourish. This is not because they lack value. Rather those ideas may just be ahead of their time or, simply, do not fit the strategy defined to optimize our resources.
However we can not afford wasting them. We want to keep a record of them all in this blog and open a debate with whoever is interested on innovation in the field of knowledge. We seek a debate that benefits society.
Thus, this is an invitation to the IIC members and to anyone visiting this site to participate in such debate. The subjects to be covered are those related to the information technology contribution to improve the spreading and usage of knowledge as cornerstone of modern society.
This will include, of course, sections dedicated to our current lines of innovation: Behavior Patterns and Talent Management, Modeling and Prediction or Social Network Processes written by members of the “Instituto”. In addition, it will feature a section devoted to Innovation Trends contributed by prestigious external bloggers. In fact, this blog will start with an article by Peter Andrews, a consultant and writer on innovation and information technologies.
All comments and contributions are free and of the exclusive responsibility of their authors. Thus, they can not be underwritten in any way by the “Instituto” or considered in any way as anticipative of future products or services. They are just part of the sound debate that precedes every innovation.
Welcome to the IIC INNOVA BLOCK !
